types of hydraulic pumps

There are three types of hydraulic pumps: gear pumps, vane pumps, and plunger pumps.

1、 Gear pump: Advantages: Small volume, simple structure, low requirements for oil cleanliness, and relatively cheap price. Disadvantages: However, the pump shaft is subjected to unbalanced force, severe wear, and significant leakage.

2、 Vane pump: divided into double acting vane pump and single acting vane pump. Advantages: The pump has uniform flow rate, smooth operation, low noise, and higher operating pressure and volumetric efficiency than gear pumps. Disadvantages: The structure is more complex than gear pumps. 3、 Plunger pump: Advantages: high volumetric efficiency, small leakage, can work under high pressure, and is mostly used in high-power hydraulic systems. Disadvantages: complex structure, high requirements for material and processing accuracy, expensive price, and high requirements for oil cleanliness.
