Hitachi Released 4 New Excavators at ConExpo in 2023

Hitachi released four new full size excavators at ConExpo in 2023, weighing from 30870 pounds to 49833 pounds.

The 30870 pound ZX130-7 is powered by a 100 horsepower Isuzu engine, with a maximum digging depth of 19 feet 9 inches and a bucket breaking force of 23380 pounds.

The operating weight of the ZX160LC-7 is 39463 pounds, with a maximum excavation depth of 21 feet and 4 inches, and a bucket breakthrough force of 25179 pounds. The 132 horsepower Yangma engine provides power for the new excavator.

The 43652-pound ZX190LC-7 fills the gap between the ZX160LC-7 and ZX210LC-7, marking Hitachi’s new size level. The Yanmar engine of the ZX190LC-7 produces 132 horsepower and can dig up to a depth of 23 feet and 2 inches, with a bucket breaking force of 28551 pounds.

The ZX210LC-7 is the heaviest among them, weighing 49833 pounds, with a maximum excavation depth of 21 feet 11 inches, and a bucket breakthrough force of 35520 pounds. It is powered by a 164 horsepower Isuzu engine, used for various tasks from earthwork to demolition.
